Easter sunshine + slow stitches

We Love Wool Weekly

Hey Reader

It’s Easter here, which means the kids are off and suddenly the days feel both brighter and louder. The sun’s been out, and I’ve been doing that slightly chaotic spring thing of bouncing between “I should rest” and “I must get everything ready immediately.”

So I’ve been out in the garden, getting beds prepped for planting and enjoying that first proper feeling of the season turning. And in among all of that, I’ve been putting the finishing touches on my geometric pattern. I shared it in the community because I’m officially at the stage where I’d love some testers, and it’s so exciting (and slightly nerve-wracking) to let other people’s hands and eyes into the process.

In other words: lots going on. But in a good way.

✍️ New on the blog: Catch-up: MA pattern work (swatches, scribbles, repeats)

This week’s post is a little peek at where I’ve been, what I’m making, and what it actually looks like when the “work” is mostly swatches, scribbles, and figuring things out in real time, especially when life is full. If you’re in a season where you’re doing a lot but not necessarily finishing a lot, I think you’ll feel seen by this one.

💌 Something worth making (Easter edition)

If you fancy a quick little Easter make (especially with the kids off), this knitted bunny is delightfully simple. It’s basically a square, a bit of sewing, and suddenly you’ve got a bunny. Perfect for using up scraps and getting that “finished something!” feeling.

Or If you’re in the mood for an Easter crochet project, this bunny roundup is full of cute options — from tiny makes to slightly bigger ones, depending on how much time (and patience) you’ve got this week.

Thanks for being here, especially in the busy seasons.

And if this week you only got a tiny pocket of time to make (or you just thought about your project and didn’t touch it), that still counts.
