A busy week, a slow row, and some beautiful bunnies

We Love Wool Weekly

Hey Reader

It’s been a full week here.
My husband’s been a bit under the weather, which always makes things feel a little more chaotic. On top of that, I’ve been getting ready for my trip to Sweden, finishing up client work and, perhaps most importantly, deciding which knitting and crochet projects to pack. (You know… the real priorities.)

In between it all, I’ve been planting peas and beans in the garden and preparing the beds for carrots. Tomatoes, cucumbers, and Aubergines are up next.

In other words, a lot is happening. Which is probably why I needed to write this week’s blog post.

✍️ New on the blog: Small, Slow, Enough

Last night, I knit one row. Just one.
It was late. The dishes weren’t done. I almost didn’t bother.

But I sat down anyway. Picked up my yarn.
And that one row changed everything.

This week’s post is a reminder that presence counts even when progress feels tiny.
That one row is still being made. One pause is still care.

You can read it here.

💬 In the Club

We’re now 441 members strong and sitting at #248 in Discovery, which is amazing.

Top of the leaderboard this week:
🥇 Donna McMahon
🥈 Vanda Santos
🥉 Philomène Cauchois 🔥

Thank you all, though, for continuing to make this community awesome!

There’s been a flurry of beautiful projects shared lately.
Shoutout to Magdalena and her charming bunny, Helen with a stunning Musselburgh hat, and Niamh, whose crochet blankets are filling the feed with colour and comfort.

I love how much this space continues to grow, not just in numbers, but in warmth and creativity too.

💌 Something worth watching

I found this short conversation with Matt Haig about wonder and presence so lovely. It isn’t about knitting, but it’s a peaceful reminder that life matters in the small, quiet moments — just like one row does for us.

Thanks for being here, even when life gets full and messy.
And if this week you only knit one row, or just thought about your project but didn’t pick it up, that still counts.
